This is the main event of the Porto Open, with athletes gathering points to rise in the rankings and qualify for the main circuit. Several matches will occur each day. Free to attend.
Romantic-themed city escape game, at Fonte dos Leões, starts 12h
This interactive game will take you around the city while challenging you with fun clues and providing a romantic backdrop. Tickets start at 9,99€.
Fado concert, at Casa da Guitarra, 18h-19h
A female vocalist accompanies guitarist, who will play a viola de fado, for this iconic fado performance. Tickets start at 18€ and include a glass of reserve port.
Classical guitar concert, at FJ Events Venue, 19h-20h
This concert presents classical guitar pieces in an intimate event space. Tickets are 15€.
Bachata class, at Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, 20h-21h
This class is for those who already know the basics of bachata, a genre of music/dance that originates from the Dominican Republic. Enjoy this free class, but registration is required.

Creative conversations and coffee, at Pátio Bonjardim, 11h-12h30
This is a chance to meet and chat with other creatives with a coffee or other drink. The group will spend a half hour talking about artificial intelligence, how it is being used in creativity, and its implications for the future. While free, they ask you order at least one item from the café.

This is a non-contact throwing, running, and jumping team sport. This mixed-gender, mixed-culture ultimate frisbee pick-up game is open to everyone. Free to participate.

Started in 2016, this piano festival brings international and local talent to unique locations around the city. This evening’s show will have the Stars of American Ballet accompanied by emblematic works from the piano repertoire, such as Chopin's Nocturnes or Ravel's Sonatina. Tickets start at 20€.

Language exchange, at Pinguim Café, 19h30-22h30
This language exchange is an opportunity to practice your multilingual skills and make new friends. While it is free to attend, they ask no outside food or drinks, and that you order at least one item from the bar.
Samba jazz concert, at FJ Events Venue, 20h-21h

Did you know: Batalha Centro de Cinema will be open Tuesday-Sunday, from 14h-19h, until 13 Aug. Watch the short film “No Interior,” about Porto’s São João festivities, for free. The cinema will close from 14 Aug-1 Sept. for summer break.

Pastel de nata cooking class, at Pop Up Workshops, 15h30-17h30
Chef Hugo Araújo will be teaching this class on how to make pastel de nata (in Portuguese). Everything you need for the class is provided. The cost is 35€ and registration is required.

Drink and draw, at Casa da Horta, starts 18h30

The Porto City Council is hosting its annual neighborhood party series. Filled with activities designed for the whole family, this free event will be held in public spaces of the seven parishes of the city and have music, traditional games, sports, and other fun things to do.

This trio plays guitar, mandolin, voice and harmonica, mixing elements of traditional folk from various countries with elements of psychedelic rock. Through their music, the Red Oak Trobadours address issues inherent in being human. There does not seem to be a cost to attend.
