The sweet barbarians film screening, at Ageas Porto Coliseum, 19h-20h30
As part of the celebration of the 200-year anniversary of Brazil's independence, the Coliseu is hosting Brazilian film documentaries. This movie records the commemorative tour of the ten years of the career of the Bahia singers Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia and Gal Costa, who formed the group with the name of Doces Bárbaros. Tickets are 4€.
Vegetarian cuisine training (2 days), at Segredos d'avó, 19h-22h30
Learn to prepare a range of vegetarian foods, including seitan, skewers, lasagna, quiche, and casserole. All ingredients are provided. Students eat dinner at the school and can bring their own drinks. This 60€ course is instructed by Chef Luísfrancisco includes two sessions on 4 and 11 October. Register online.

Khronos acrobatic fusion performance, at Coliseu, starts 21h
This memorable performance of 60 artists features acrobatics, dance, skating, and circus. The show brings together the ArtGym Company, an acrobatic collective that won Got Talent Portugal, world & European champion gymnasts from the Acro Clube da Maia, European champion skaters, artists from the Portuguese Circus and the Porto Dance Schools, and a solo dancer from Escola Pallco. In the same vein as Friars Club Roasts, this comedy roast of Bruno de Carvalho is being led by Fernando Rocha and supported by the very funny Victor Sarro, Victor Espadinha, Ana Arrebentinha, Alexandre Santos, Hugo Sousa, Rui Xará, and Cláudia Martins (in Portuguese). Tickets start at 18€.
