It’s the last week of the Banksy exhibition! We went & highly recommend it for fans of the artist. Parents, we included some fun events for kids here, like Gaia World Music & an event hosted by FC Porto, among others.

Cycling Grand Prix, at Parque Oriental da Cidade do Porto, starts 10h
The 31st edition of the JN Cycling Grand Prix comes through Porto (the “3rd stage”) today. There are 126 cyclists representing 15 Portuguese teams and three Galicians riding more than 1000km through Northern Portugal. Free entry.

This international music festival kicks off at 18h30 with Morvan Massif Trio (France); Galandum Galundaina (Portugal) at 21h30; and DJ Celeste/Mariposa (Portugal) at 23h. 5th Annual Feijoada dos Bamba, at the park above Trindade metro, starts 16h
This vibrant event features live samba music and delicious feijoada. Entry starts at 16h (DJ set João Carioca) and Orquestra Bamba Social (a samba circle) starts at 18h. Tickets 15,90€ for adults; free for children up to age 12.
Six Bridges Rally, at Ponte Dom Luís I, starts ~16h
This rally of old cars and motorbikes will visit 6 large arch bridges, driving 6000km through 9 European countries, to raise awareness of 5 metal bridges that don’t have UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Vitão is a Brazilian artist who adeptly moves through several genres of music, like R&B, samba, and bossa nova, but with his own unique style. He started as a busker, and his YouTube videos have 100s of millions of views. Tickets 20€ pp.
