Monday, 24 October
Gaming Experience event, at GaiaShopping, 11h-21h
Curated by the Museum of Nostalgic Video Games, this event will feature video games from the 1970s to the present day in interactive spaces. There will be 12 different areas, each having a machine for two players simultaneously. Free entry.
International Festival of Organ and Sacred Music, at various locations and various times
Porto hosts the 2nd edition of the Festival Internacional de Órgão e Música Sacra (FIOMS) through 6 Nov. With 30+ concerts, 4 master classes, and a conference, there’s something for everyone, including concerts for kids. Performances will be held in some of the most well-known churches in the area and at Casa da Música. Free admission.
Vincent Moon’s Live Cinema, at M.Ou.Co. Hotel, starts 21h
A piece of performance art which combines images that are edited live, music and moving pictures. Vincent Moon is an independent French filmmaker and musician. Each performance is site-specific and unique. Buy 12€ tickets online.
Tim Bernardes concert, at Casa da Música, starts 21h30
Considered one of the most important Brazilian composers of the past few years, Tim Bernardes fluidly moves between genres. Once a member of the group, “O Terno,” watch the Latin Grammy nominee now that he is a solo act. Tickets start at 22€.

Porto hosts the 2nd edition of the Festival Internacional de Órgão e Música Sacra (FIOMS) through 6 Nov. Kit Armstrong piano concert, at Casa da Música, starts 21h
Discovered as a teenager, Kit Armstrong's talents as pianist led to him being discovered and his talents nurtured by legendary composer Alfred Brendel. This recital begins with “Bells of Las Palmas” before moving to other demanding polyphonic pieces. Tickets start at 18€.
Brazilian music concert, at Embaixada do Porto, starts 22h
Who wants to enjoy the sounds of a Brazilian band for the evening? Every Tuesday, you can stop by and dance up a storm. Admission is free.

Today features Virgem Suta. This free festival (“Sounds in Heritage“) crisscrosses the greater Porto area in October, showcasing different locations with musical projects, each focused on honoring the arts, crafts, architecture, and history.
Manuel Linhares and David Binney concert, at Casa da Música, starts 22h30
One of the few male voices in Portuguese jazz today, Manuel Linhares will be showing off songs from his new album, “Suspenso.” Backed up by his band and American saxophonist, David Binney, this show should not be missed. Tickets start at 18€.
Burlesque Festival, at Cafe Lusitano, starts 23h
The 2nd edition of the Porto Burlesque Festival is back. Café Lusitano and La Roche Produções bring burlesque, boylesque, and draglesque artists to the stage with glamorous and unique shows. Standing up spots: 5€. Sit-down seats: 10€. Ticket is free if you have a dinner reservation.
