Monday, 15 January
Lusophone music concert, at Casa da Música, starts 17h30
This educational session focuses on the music of the lusophone beginning with the Berlin Conference and ends with the First Portuguese Colonial Exhibition. Tickets start 10€.
Beginning pole dancing class, at Studio UP!, 17h30-18h20
Sandra Fragoso leads this class for those interested in pole dancing. This compulsory class covers safety aspects, basic movements to be able to start or to try out. The cost is 12€ and registration is required.
Conditioning and flexibility class, at Studio UP!, 17h30-18h20
Instructor Andson Santos will teach you to gain agility and flexibility using floor movements and with some equipment for help. The cost is 12€ and registration is required.

Bonbons workshop, at Pasgelpan, 12h-18h
Chef Alírio Amorim will teach you the best techniques for working chocolate to make bonbons. This includes melting chocolate, tempering the chocolate, and filling the bonbons (in Portuguese). Costs 100€ and requires registration.
Running club, meet-up location varies, starts at 19h
Runners and walkers of all fitness levels meet weekly to exercise and socialize. Free to join. Email Warren for details and run location. The group also meets on Saturdays.
Mariana Martins concert, at Casa da Música, starts 19h30
In 2021, after 11 years of study and dedication to the guitar, Mariana Martins became the first woman to graduate in Portuguese Guitar from the School of Applied Arts of the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute. Tickets are 12€.
Latin dance class, at Espaço Compasso, 20h-22h
Dance lessons for salsa and bachata are offered. They start with a warm-up, body exercises and basic movements, then we continue with different steps of each style. Stereo immersive couples experience, at Leça da Palmeira Sports Complex, multiple times
The Ukrainian creative group Uzahvati created this one-hour immersive experience. Designed for couples, you and your partner are given headphones that guide you through an empty space to connect with activities and intimate stories of others. Tickets are 48€ for two people for start times of 16h30, 18h, and 19h30.
Whisky tasting flight and quiz, at Eddie's Klub, 16h-23h
Taste three whiskies from around the world and then take a quiz to test your whisky knowledge. If you get the questions right, you’ll get an extra whisky to choose from. Costs 15€ and reservations are not required.
Janeiro e Paulo Novaes concert, at Casa da Música, starts 21h30
A Portuguese musician and a Brazilian musican joined forces to create a unique fusion of sound. Their first EP, Protocolar - Vol. I was released in 2020. At the end of 2023, they released a second volume which they will present at this concert. Tickets are 16€.
The Strauss Gala, at Ageas Porto Coliseu, 21h30-24h
Inspired by the traditional musical gathering held every year in Vienna, the Strauss Gala is back with a selection of Strauss's best waltzes, polkas, and marches. Tickets start at 30€.

This basement concert venue features cover bands of all the greatest rock and pop bands. Tonight features The Kings of Swing, a tribute band that plays Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, and Pearl Jam songs. There is a 10€ consumption cover charge and it is recommended you reserve a table via WhatsApp.
