Leonardo da Vinci interactive exhibit, at Alfândega do Porto, 11h-18h
Leonardo da Vinci’s talents as a scientist, artist, and inventor are on display in this special exhibition. See several of his inventions, namely his machines, meticulously reconstructed based on the original sketches from various codices and built with the materials available in his time: wood, cloth, rope, and metal. Most of the models are interactive, so visitors can handle them if allowed. Audio guide included, but headphones are not. Tickets start at 10€.

The 31st edition of the "Lamprey Festival," is a gastronomic event dedicated traditional and innovative dishes showcasing the invasive lamprey eel. An array of restaurants will be participating. Admission is free, the food is not.

This exhibition of digital imagery, photography, and sculpture by Pedro Huet is his first solo work in a public art space. In this project, images and stories derive from a single object: Croma, a green vase. This exhibit is free to view and located in Batalha's Sala-Filme, across the Film Center.

A Letter From Yene, at Batalha Centro de Cinema, 19h15-21h
Manthia Diawara is a Malian researcher, writer, and director whose film examines the Senegalese fishing village of Yene. In it, locals discuss how their fishing community was destroyed by uncontrolled urbanization and erosion of the coast. Diawara will be in attendance and participate in a post-screening discussion in English (the film is in English with Portuguese subtitles). Admission is free but tickets must be picked up from the box office.
